Compliance & Disclosure — Form 03
Privacy & Accessibility
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Pussy Factory (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you visit our website, purchase tickets, attend our events, or otherwise interact with us.
By using our website or attending our events, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
01 Information We Collect
Personal information you provide.
When you fill out a form on our website, sign up for our newsletter, contact us, or register for an event, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, and any other information you choose to share (such as accessibility needs or dietary restrictions). We use this information to communicate with you, manage event participation, and provide our services.
Ticketing and payment information.
We sell tickets through third-party ticketing platforms (such as Eventbrite). When you purchase a ticket, your payment is processed directly by that platform or its payment processor — we do not collect or store your full payment card details. The ticketing platform may share limited order information with us, such as your name, email address, and the tickets you purchased, so we can manage attendance and communicate with you about the event. Your use of a third-party ticketing platform is also governed by that platform's own privacy policy.
Photographs and video at events.
Our events are photographed and recorded. By attending, you understand that your image, likeness, and voice may be captured in photos or video. We may use this media to promote Pussy Factory and our events, including on our website, social media, marketing materials, and short-form video content. If you do not wish to appear in our media, or you would like us to remove media in which you appear, contact us at privacy@pussyfactory.org and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request (note that we cannot always identify or remove every individual in crowd footage).
Automatically collected information.
We use a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool (Umami) to understand how visitors use our website. It collects aggregated, anonymized data such as pages visited, referring sources, general device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. Umami does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect personally identifiable information.
02 Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses minimal cookies. Our analytics provider (Umami) is cookieless and does not track you across sites. If we add features that require cookies (for example, embedded media or a future ticketing integration), those may set their own cookies, which you can manage through your browser settings.
We do not currently use advertising or retargeting pixels (such as Meta, TikTok, or Google Ads). If this changes, we will update this policy and provide any opt-out mechanisms required by law.
03 How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Communicate with you about events, services, and updates
- Process and manage event registrations and attendance
- Send you marketing and newsletter communications, where you have signed up
- Promote our events and brand, including through event photography and video
- Understand and improve website traffic and our services
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights
04 Marketing Communications and Your Choices
If you sign up for our newsletter or other marketing, you can opt out at any time:
- Email: Click the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- SMS (if applicable): Reply STOP to any text message to opt out of further texts.
We only send marketing texts to people who have given consent, and standard message and data rates may apply. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages directly related to an event you have registered for (such as schedule changes or important updates).
05 Sharing and Disclosure of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers and vendors. We share information with trusted third parties who help us operate, including our ticketing platform, email/newsletter service, analytics provider, event photographers and videographers, and venue partners. These providers are permitted to use your information only to perform services for us.
- Legal compliance. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our company, our attendees, or the public.
- Business transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the protections of this policy.
06 Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
- Opt out of marketing communications
California residents.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
To make a request, email us at privacy@pussyfactory.org. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
07 Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy — for example, to manage your event participation, send communications you've signed up for, and meet our legal and recordkeeping obligations — after which we delete or anonymize it.
08 Data Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Access to your data is limited to people who need it to do their jobs and who are bound by confidentiality obligations. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
09 Age of Attendees
Age requirements vary by event and are stated on each event's ticketing or information page. Where an event is restricted to adults (18+ or 21+), attendees must meet the stated minimum age. Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10 Third-Party Links
Our website and communications may contain links to third-party sites and services, such as ticketing platforms, social media, and venue pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
11 Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. If the changes are material, we will provide additional notice as required by law.
12 Contact Us

Pussy Factory privacy@pussyfactory.orgAccessibility Statement
Pussy Factory is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible experience for everyone, including people with disabilities. We strive to ensure that our website, events, and services are welcoming, accommodating, and supportive of diverse accessibility needs.
Website accessibility.
We are continually working to improve the accessibility of our website in alignment with recognized standards such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Our goal is to make our digital content usable by all visitors, regardless of technology or ability.
Event accessibility.
We aim to create event environments that are accessible to all attendees. Where available, our venues offer wheelchair access, ramps, elevators, accessible parking, and accessible restrooms. Because accessibility features vary by venue, please check the details for your specific event or contact us in advance. Upon request and with sufficient notice, we can work to arrange accommodations such as assistive listening devices, captioning, or sign language interpretation, and we are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions or allergies with advance notice.
Requesting accommodations.
If you require an accommodation to fully participate in our events or to access our website, please contact us at privacy@pussyfactory.org at least 10 days before the event or your planned visit. We welcome your feedback and will do our best to ensure your full participation.
Continuous improvement.
We regularly review and update our accessibility practices and welcome suggestions. If you encounter any barriers or have accessibility needs not addressed here, please reach out to us at privacy@pussyfactory.org.
We are committed to making our services accessible to everyone and appreciate your partnership in helping us achieve this goal.
